More than most things, cats love the feeling of being swaddled. It makes them feel safe and comfortable. The feeling mimics the comfort of early kittenhood, like how they used to sleep piled on top of all their littermates and mother. And honestly, that's purrfectly relatable. If pawssible, we enjoy cocooning ourselves in blankets with only our head sticking out to fall asleep. Purrhaps we're part cat.

You see what we mean? This is an Olympic-level cat nap right here. There's no way that's comfortable. The hard iron bars, the rusty metal of the grill, there's no way we would ever find any inkling of comfort there. But that cat is sawing logs like his life depends on it. He's sleeping more deeply than we have in years. We can't even fall asleep on planes, but this guy? Just casually falling asleep on the grill like it's no big deal. Epic.
